4.1 Data Interpretation

From the survey we can see that majority of the respondents (60%) have the healthy body. The percentage are the same This clearly indicates that the students have their balance diet in daily life.
4.2 Writing Style for Data Analysis
The pie chart above illustrates the frequency of students exercise in a week. According to the graph, the highest percentage goes to 1 – 2 times and the lowest percentage is 3- 4 times with 14%. The total value of 1 – 2 times is equal to the total of the other frequencies. Interestingly, 20% of the respondents chose never which signifies that students either do not exercise or they do not exercise enough. It can be concluded that most of the students rarely exercise due to lack of time.

The pie chart illustrates frequency of students having supper in a week. According to the graph, the highest percentage goes to 1 – 2 times and lowest is > 5 times with 12%.

The graph illustrates frequency of students eat in a day. According to the graph, the highest percentage goes to 2 – 3 times and lowest is 0 with 0%. Interestingly, 0% of respondents chose 0 which means no one does not eat in a day. In nutshell, most of the students eat 2 – 3 times in a day.

The pie chart illustrates the drinks that students prefer more. According to the graph, the highest percentage goes to ice drinks and the lowest is soft drinks with 4%. From the pie chart, the large percentages (72%) of respondents tend to drink juices and ice drinks. It is because of the hot weather in Malaysia and ice drinks and juices are able too cold down the temperature of the body.

The pie chart illustrates the interest of students on eating snacks. 78% of the respondents like to eat snack like potato chips, crisps, candy and etc in their daily life. It because most of the respondents like to eat snack while doing their discussion or eat some candy during the class so that they will not feel sleepy.

The graph illustrates the frequency of students eat at fast food restaurants in a week. According to the graph, the highest percentage goes to 0 and the lowest is 3 times that is 2%. Interestingly, half of the students chose 0 which signifies that students either do not go to the fast food restaurants or they don’t like to eat fast foods. It can be concluded that most of the students seldom eat fast food because they are no fast food restaurants available nearby the UMP. Hence, they seldom go to the fast food restaurant which is far away from the university.
